This page explains how to request closure of your BuildEasy account and deletion of associated personal data processed by BuildEasy, subject to legal and contractual retention needs.
1. Who can request deletion
The account holder or, where applicable, an authorized administrator for your organization should submit the request. We may need to verify identity before processing.
2. How to request account deletion
Send an email to buildeasyerp@gmail.com with the subject line “BuildEasy account deletion request” and include:
- The email address associated with your BuildEasy account.
- Confirmation that you want the account deleted (and whether your organization requires a different process).
3. What we delete
After verification, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account where we are not required to retain it for legal, tax, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Data retained will be minimized and kept only as long as necessary.
4. What may be retained
Examples of information we may retain when the law or our legitimate interests require it:
- Records needed for accounting, taxation, or fraud prevention.
- Backups for a limited period until overwritten according to our retention schedule.
- Anonymized or aggregated data that does not identify you.
5. Timing
We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days unless a longer period is permitted by law or we need additional information from you.
